INSIGHTS INTO THE PAST - GET TO KNOW HISTORY OF IČIĆI!
Interpretative & panoramic rides on a wooden boat GAJETA and guided walks through IČIĆI during May

Ičići Tourist Board invites all interested individuals to take part in organized interpretative - panoramic boat rides on the traditional wooden boat gajeta, or in guided walks through the town during the month of May, as part of the project Insights Into the Past.

The main idea of Ičići Tourist Bord is to introduce guests to the history of the town, either through interpretative-panoramic rides in front of Ičići or expert-guided walking tours through the town.

In 2023, Ičići Tourist Board published a tourist booklet titled Insights Into the Past, which contains short stories about the town’s history, its historical villas, the development of tourism and hospitality, as well as the lives of the locals and the love they have poured into building Ičići.
All interested visitors can choose whether they would like to explore the town’s history from a new perspective – from the sea, on a boat ride in a traditional gajeta, or by strolling through Ičići accompanied by a guide and hearing first-hand stories featured in the Insights Into the Past booklet.

Interpretative and panoramic wooden boat (gajeta)rides will be held on Tuesdays in May, on the following dates:
May 6th, May 13th, May 20th, and May 27th
Departure is at 5 PM from ACI MARINA Opatija in Ičići.
Places are limited, and registration is required:

madonnina.bonaca@gmail.com or by phone at +385 91 152 80 79.
